Nshimiyimana Alexandre, Sanit Wing, Rwanda
Over 141,000 metric tonnes of avocado go to waste in Rwanda. With Sanit Wing, Nshimiyimana is tackling this post-harvest wastage by processing these locally grown, pesticide-free avocados in his community into high-value oils and cosmetics.
